How We Track Your Progress

Assessment isn’t about grades — it’s about understanding where you stand and where you’re headed. We employ multiple methods to help you observe your growth and pinpoint areas for targeted practice.

Portfolio Evaluations

Every four weeks, we sit down together and review your recent work. These discussions help identify patterns in your development and highlight breakthrough moments you might have missed.

Monthly Sessions

Hands-on Skill Assessments

Short, focused tasks that let you demonstrate specific techniques. Think of them as friendly challenges – can you create smooth gradations? Draw a cube in perspective? These help us both see your technical progress.

Bi-weekly Exercises

Peer Review Sessions

Sometimes other students notice things instructors miss. These structured group discussions teach you to analyze artwork constructively while receiving fresh perspectives on your own work.

Weekly Groups

Self-Reflection Projects

You'll document your artistic journey through written reflections and comparison studies. This metacognitive approach helps you become aware of your own learning process and artistic choices.
